CAMS Cycling Collective

CAMS Cycling Collective has recently relocated to a new state-of-the-art indoor cycling facility at the new King Street precinct in Bowen Hills. Their new space combines expert indoor and outdoor cycle coaching, a mechanical workshop, retail accessories, nutrition consultation, pilates classes and bike storage. They have also taken advantage of their wide street frontage and opened a cafe with bench seating the length of the store-front.

Design Folk has created a multifunctional space that embraces the street and opens to bring the outdoors in. The space has been cleverly divided into visual zones through the use of materials, colours, curtains and lighting. Caribou’s Razor profiles have been used in the far ply clad class space, allowing different profile strips to be turned on, off or dimmed independently as needed. While Track and Spot lights have been used throughout the central cycle zone to accommodate the space changing needs and provide task lighting. As well as effectively illuminating the rear wall artwork which dominates the space and demands attention from the street. CAMS Cycling Collective raises the bar for cycling in Brisbane.
